This 20 credit degree-level module will address normal anatomy and physiology of skin and wound healing and compare with pathophysiology in skin and tissue repair. It will explore the systematic assessment of the patient, their skin and any wounds. It will consider the general management principles for skin and wounds and provide opportunities to examine the role that skin and wound management products can play alongside education to improve patient outcomes as part of a robust management strategy.
