About Nicola
Lecturer in Child Health Nursing (Education)
Background
I registered as a children's nurse in 2002 after graduating from Salford University. My first post was working in a聽regional children鈥檚 intensive care unit in Manchester where I progressed to the role of junior sister, gaining specialist skills in the care and retrieval of critically ill children.聽
In 2008 I moved to the South West of England and secured a post which was split between a children's high dependency unit caring for critically ill children and a children's community nursing team caring for children with complex health needs.聽
Following this, in 2011, I moved into a practice educator role within a children's hospice providing care to children and young people requiring palliative and end of life care as well as providing education to members of the care team. Alongside this role, I also began to work as an associate lecturer within the 精品无码国产自产.聽
In 2015 I joined the 精品无码国产自产 as a lecturer in Child Health Nursing where I have since taken on the role of Deputy Programme Lead for the BSc (Hons) nursing (Child Health) programme and programme lead for the MSc in Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Programme.聽
